"It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." - Charles Darwin
I believe that everything happens for a reason and that reason always has my well being in mind.
Recently I started re-reading the Master Key System by Charles Haanel. I've had the ebook for 10 years, have read it, done the exercises almost all the way through....key word almost. So, as I began the Master Key System again, there in my Facebook feed I saw a video posted by Mark Januszewski - @lazynetworker - promoting the Master Key Mastermind Alliance for 2015 #MKMMA2015. It called my attention - and here's why....
When I was an assistant coach for Taekwondo at the US Olympic Center, one of the things we did when a new athlete came in was to break them down, in order to build them up to a competitive level internationally. Winning domestically was one thing, but the international scene was another. The phrase, "you can't get there from here," comes to mind
As for me, I've been trained by some of the best teachers and coaches from my Taekwondo training, to coaching at the USOTC, to my presentation skills to my Master's Certification in NLP with my dear friend Gary De Rodriguez. I've spoken around the world, from Europe to Latin America, from corporations to Universities....ok, the short version is I've been around and done some really cool stuff in my life. However I was struggling.
I wasn't utilizing my abilities to their fullest, not even close. I was stressed, frustrated...my relationships were stagnant. The next level I was seeking, well, "you can't get there from here," became more and more real to me. It was time for me to be broken down and built back up. Not by myself mind you, but with a team....a Mastermind....a Mastermind Alliance.
The games begin this Sunday September 27th, 2015. I will chronicle my journey here on this very blog. I will be open and share my experiences because I have been given a gift in this Pay It Forward Scholarship and it's time I make the most of the gifts I've been given. My expectation is that my life may become an example of what's possible when one has the courage to empty their cup.
The best is yet to come!
